I am pleased to have Pecan and Jam Frangipane Lattice-topped Pie Pops included in the Fall/Winter 2011 Brides Magazine spread titled “The Next Wave of Wedding Favors“.  The caption reads:  “The moment for cake lollypops has passed.  Next up: Pie Pops.”  Included in the local editions in New York, New Jersey, and Washington, DC this spread also features whimsical favors from other east coast treat-makers such as the adorable Brooklyn Hard Candy.

Though favors are often thought of as treats for wedding and bridal or baby showers, there is no reason not to surprise your guests with prettily packaged goodies at casual parties as well.  Everyone appreciates being appreciated for their presence at a happy occasion and an edible treat is a fantastic way to show thanks.  Throw some of your favorite cookies in cellophane bags tied up with ribbon and they will be instantly elevated into little packages of thoughtfulness.
